1950 Chrysler Imperial 8 Cylinder Engine

Most of the time this car starts on the third or fourth turn of the starter. Frequently, enough to be very irritating, the engine tries to fire and then fails to start. All are new, points and plugs. It feels like the engine is getting no spark.

My mechanic finally gets it started and says nothing is wrong. Something is causing the condition described and I would APPRECIATE ANY HELP. The problem is so irritating that I am trying to sell the car!

Don't sell the car. Go to http://www29.addr.com/~merc583/mopar...eframeset.html
ask your question on that forum. You will find the answer.
Good Luck
