Help!!! I desperately need parts for this car. the chassis is rusted paper thin and everything is stuck. I would like to find a complete running gear including the chassis, front and rear ends including wheels. I have the engine and transmission complete but condition unknown as yet. I'm in the SF bay area. Bob Scafani (510) 791-1738. dbracer26@aol.com
Hi Bob,
Your 75 roadster is one of about 6000+ or so built and should be saved. Chrysler did not produce any shop manuals for their cars, but the Model 75 "Owners Manual" provides a wealth of information, although not specific to the roadster. The AACA Library is also a source of information although they don't have much on the 1929 Model 75, and the National Automobile Museum in Reno is also a good information source. Though parts are scarce and roadster parts are almost non-existant, Jay Astheimer, astheime@ptd.net, specializes in early Chrysler parts and has been a valuable and reliable source for me. Before he came on the scene there was nothing but networking and word of mouth to locate parts.
I live in the bay area as well and am currently finishing a restoration on a 1930 Chrysler "70" roadster. As the other post stated parts for the roadsters are impossible to find. I just joined the California Chrysler Products Club which I'm told has some good resources for parts and info.

Man, they must have made most of them with the two-tone blue paint job. Looks like the car I had.
