8v and 16v stage II computers!
I have stage II computers available for the 8v and 16v turbo engines. These computers raise the boost (at both partial and wide open throttle conditions) and offer revised spark and fuel curves for improved performance.
The 8v controller raises max boost from 7psi to 14psi (a whopping 40hp increase...from 160 to 200) and the 16v engine controller raises the max boost from 10psi to 14psi (a 40hp increase....from 200 to 240hp). These controllers are 100% safe, however you must run premium fuel at all times. (which quite honestly, you should be doing anyway).
If combined with other modifications (such as my BOV kit, mandrel bent exhaust system, K&N air filter, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, larger throttle body, stage II turbocharger assembly, etc..) HP gains are of course considerably more.
I also have a larger throttle body, K&N filter, mandrel bent exhaust system, and improved spark plug wire sets available for the V6 cars as well.
For pricing and availability email Rick at: rick@rdiperformance.com
Also have a few brand new (NOS) OE clutches left in stock for the 16v 5spd cars.
Regards,
Rick Diogo

Re: 8v and 16v stage II computers!
I have a few of these computers left if anyone is interested. I am down to 2 left for the 8v Turbo II engine (with automatic transmission) and 2 left for the 16v turbo (5 speed) cars. If you live in California I do have a computer that is a little tamer, but will pass smog yet still offers a nice performance increase of approx 15-20hp. When combined with the larger throttle body, BOV kit, etc.. these make a marked improvement in power over stock.

what is the price of a stage 2 16V smec? do you need a core? i have a 90 space cali emission 16V smec for core if so, not sure if it matters because my car is a 89 16V all other 49 state smec.

Re: 8v and 16v stage II computers!
the price depends on whether or not you want a stock chip to come with it and whether or not your core is good. email me at rick@rdiperformance.com and let me know if your core is good...if your core is bad there is (naturally) a core charge
