Hi guys, can anybody help me identify the correct exhaust valve to use in my 1925 Dodge bros engine. From an early mechanics instruction manual dated 1914-1927 it suggests the exhaust valve is made of "Silcrome steel". I have purchased several valves and all have different markings. Eg:- V36, S36, UFCR36, DECD183, DC36, DCFOR V36 & DC36. All look and measure the same, is there a way to identify which of these may be exhaust valves?

I'm rebuilding a 1919 DB engine. I have new valves but need new lifter "bolts" (the part that comes into contact with the end of the valve stem that is adjusted). Where can I purchase them? Also, what is the clearance to adjust them cold?
Adjustment should be in your book of information, do you have one? Prob. only lists adjustment hot
