    56 fairlane power steering

So my 56 fairlane came with factory power steering. its old and needs rebuilt, it also leaks fluid really bad. i was wanting to know if i were to replace the whole unit with something newer from a newer car, what car shoud i look for. I know its really expensive to replace the factory stuff. but parts for newer stuff is much cheaper. im thinking of something from the junk yard thats cheap. What will fit?? thanks

You can use valves and rams from at least through 1960. Later cars used a smaller valve. New seal kits are also available. Some folks replace the works with Granada linkage.
