Please help me with the year of this firetruck

This is my dad's firetruck and is titled as a 1931, however at a parade a few years ago a gentleman explained to me it was a 1929. He seemed very knowledgable and after a short conversation had me convinced. I was hoping some of you may be able to help me with this. I have had several older cars in the past that at some point had the wrong year listed on the title so I know it is possible. Thank you all for your time.

That radiator shell and hood looks like a 1931 chevrolet.Dos it have a six or a four cyl engine?That hood is too long for a model a.

It all looks like 1931 Chevrolet to me.

Since it's not a Ford, not a Chev (All Chev's in this period were 6-cylinder) post this question in the "What Is It?" forum. You'll get a lot more viewers. I'll be surprised if you don't have your answer in an hour.
