In some of the parts books,this model is listed as (1928-brown)&(1929-black) are they describing the top color,or the body color? I have a "28"--the top is black,and the body is brown&black.Also there seems to be a lot of parts for Briggs & Murry,but not for this model.(like windshield glass or top wood bows.Also what is a model S/W - some of the books have this under the picture of differen't models. (not station waggon) Does anyone sell just the top wood bows without buying the whole kit? My wood is good ,execpt for the small wood cross bows.I could make them. Are they straight or did they have a slight bow up in the middle? I have heard the term (steam bent top bows ) Thanks

It is my understanding that the 1928 had a brown top and the 1929 had a black top. The S/W Model designation is for Slant Windshield, which would be the late 1931 cars. In my experience, any competent local glass shop can cut the glass as it is all flat glass. You could also get the glass from Brattons. I don't know about the top bows, but I would try Lebaron Bonney Company if you can't find it at any other supplier.
