positive battery cable routing

I just received new battery cables and do not yet have a cable tube for the positive cable on a 70442W30 auto trans. I am looking at the assembly manual trying to figure out were the tube would go and how to install it. Do you have to do it from underneath the car or from the top. Thanks for any info.

tube is mounted on top of frame / starter side / below master cylinder
should be bolt hole there

I have a battery tube with a frame mount from a 71 cutlass auto if your interested. If I have time tomorrow I will put it back on the frame and take a pic for you. The car is a parts car and there is no front sheet metal on it so it won't be any problem.

John. Here's the pic of the batt tube. This is how it was mounted. The tube has a short end and a long end. I don't remember what end went up. Hope this helps.
