I just found two vertical bumperettes in the trunk of my son's 1940 Series 70 4 door sedan. There are matching holes in the bumpers and marks where they used to be. However, looking at the brochure on tocmp.com, I don't see any reference to these. Any info?

Possibly a factory accessory not shown in the brochure. If you look at the photo of the gray '40 they use for that gallery, it has a factory center guard on the front. The rear one should be hinged to get into the trunk.

Maybe you've got a grille guard with the bars missing? Or, maybe you've got something aftermarket.

I saw your trunk pictures in your other post. Those look like factory center guards to me.
