I have a question about the color of my 69 442. The car is a survivor and still maintains it's original paint. The color on the car is referred to as a custom color on the window tag and also shows as two dashes on the cowl tag with no paint code. I was at a local show for the Olds chapter and another 69 442 had the same color situation. The owner of that car says the "custom" color was actually colors taken from the Toronado line. If that would be the case why would the paint code for that application not be included on the tag?
It has my mind wondering.

Not necessarily from the Toronado color chart. It could have been a color GM offered in a different carline, or a non-standard GM color.

Have to agree with Glenn - think of "Sebring Yellow" for the Rallye 350. You have a great color combination with the white top. Thumbs way up!!
