    Preserving Plastic Door Panels

    Hope you watching rr,
Its been a while since I posted, but you always come through. After a very long search, I finally found a pair of 66' Toronado interior door panels. I went to a professional interior upholstrey restorer and bought and applied the original color to them. I am in AZ. where the Sun plays havoc on plastic. The originals had fallen apart (brittle) near the handle & door pull areas. I know new ABS type door panels hold up better. I could never find any. Is there any kind of bonding type spray application that might keep these held together?
    As always thanx in advance,
    Dave / streets

    Re: Preserving Plastic Door Panels

Streets, if there's anything out there I don't know about it. Your best bet may be to get a set of east coast door panels.

We Easterners sure love y'all's desert sheetmetal and chrome, but we know there's always a flip side to the coin- in this case, rubber and plastic don't hold up against the sun.
