55 Olds 88 2 dr. hardtop

I'm obviously a Packard guy but have found a local Olds 2 dr. 88 hardtop in super condition. Everything is correct and original specs, the owner wants $19500--do you guys think that's a fair price? The car really is nice and needs nothing. Engine and undercarriage are even detailed excellent.

For a car done to standards, yes. Most comparable 55-56 2-doors I see advertised in the NAOC and OCA magazines are priced in that range.

You probably couldn't build it for that unless you did all the work your self, that being body paint upholstery and all the mechanicals. It adds up very fast, then again half the fun is in the jurney....Tedd
