    For Sale:1940 Packard Limo/Invalid Coach

    For Sale: 1940 Packard, Custom Super 8, One-Eighty, Series 1808, touring sedan, type 1351, on the 148 inch wheel base. Highly optioned, including factory air conditioner or 'Packard Weather Conditioner" as it is called. Yard drives and shifts through all gears with original engine #CC505804, the first year for the 356 cubic inch with 9 main bearings. It has a removable right door post (believe by Henney) plus many extra parts to return it to its original configuration. I have a New York State transferable registration in my name.     Want 6 or 8 door Airport limo any year, any make pre WWII.

    The owner of this Packard has passed on to Packard heaven and the car was sold within the past two months. It is my understanding it went to a buyer in Massachusetts.

    That 1940 Packard now is for sale on eBay. Starting price is $6500.00, just what he paid for it. But, it is my understanding that he also got complete front sheet metal, which, if not NOS, was excellent quality, including the grille. That additional sheet metal and grille does not appear to be part of the package being offered on eBay.

    I wish it was about 3 K, just finding the Air Condition pieces will be a challenge, great potiental.
