For Sale :1934 1101 Packard Coupe needing restoration
Will be posting this Senior Classic on ebay in the next 10 days for buy it now price of $38,000.00. Purchased it 5 years ago from Bert Barber, who bought it back from the widow of the gentleman who had purchassed it from him while he was still in California. He had begun it's restoration. Chassis....motor ...trans were redone...with a portion of the chrome also complete. Needs som patch panels but everything is there. Gene Irvine noted woodworker who replaced pieces in over 150 .....32-34 convertibles and coupes over the years made all new wood for this car ( not needed but had him do it all). Also had all new wood placed in the hardtop. Anyone interested pm me. The price is firm. If it sells so be it....if not I will refit it as planned. I am sandblasting it and epoxy priming in next few weeks....scheduled to take the car down to Jamie Hery in Tenn. to get all needed sheetmetal work done ....asssembled ....then brought back and completed. Have and can take photos...just pm me or send request to packardrefitters@windstream.net or call at 440 281 4478...anytime. Hardtop was cut off to make convertible ...have the top with all new wood.

One of the prettiest Packards made in my opinion. A very worthwhile project.

Re: For Sale :1934 1101 Packard Coupe needing restoration
Bert Barber sold this car to his friend, while still in business in California, who began the restoration, completing the mechanical portion, the motor and trans and some chrome. He passed away and his widow sold thee car back to Bert who took it up to Washington State where he now resides. He sold it to me to use the money from it and the money I gave him for a 1933 victoria coupe that is being restored by Kent Marburger of Ill.....and will be shown for the first time this show season. Shawn Miller and I bought two cars from Bert. Both had to be purchased or nither would he sell. Shawn took the 32 shovel nose convertible and I took the coupe with the hardtop zipped off. Regardless this is a very nice piece as you are saying and easily completed after the sheet metal is taken care of.

Re: For Sale :1934 1101 Packard Coupe needing restoration
The chassis ...motor ....trans....drive train to this 34 coupe was completed 12 years ago, give or take, prior to the owner's passing. Next step is attended to all sheet metal issues and preparing the car for paint. Is hoped the car will be in primer, ready to begin final completion, this September. You may contact Jamie Hery, 610 324 2252 to discuss purchase, at any time along the journey. The car is available for your viewing at any time...... photos upon request.... references upon request....other aaca vehicle restorations completed by Spirit of Excellence, Lewisburg, Tenn. ....upon request.

Re: For Sale :1934 1101 Packard Coupe needing restoration
Here are photos of the wood frame being assembled with sheet metal fitted to the structure by Mr. Hery. New wood pieces were made by Gene Irvine. He will completely assemble the car....fit all components...epoxy prime all bare metal panels....then prime and sand. At that time, or now with all stated to be completed at $55,000.00. Motor has been redone...trans gone thru with chassis and suspension also attended to. Previous posts give information to contact myself or Mr. Hery. Many other photo's upon request.
