1955 Packard Anti-Sway Bar Bushing Replacement

<img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/image.../confused.gif" alt="" /> Say have any of you out there ever replaced the anti-sway bushings on your 55-56 Packards? If so please advise on method (s)? One fellow suggests that I break the weld by drilling into the spot welds and then insert the bushing & secure by tac welding the (2) a-frame pieces back together. My replacements are from Kanter, so I'm sure they are correct.

Kevin, look at Craig's panther site to see what he did. I had a machinist friend make new sections and drill and tap them for bolts. Essentially they are just big stand-offs.
