White wall widths varied between the original tire manufacturers. An original 650X16 white wall width for your time period, could have been between 3 3/4" and 4 1/8" depending if it was either a Goodyear, Firestone, BFG, General or many of the generic brands offered at the time. Coker's different brands and styles of tires that they offer, reflect this as well. My choice would be to go with their BFG Silvertown with a 3 3/4" white. They look, ride and handle great.
