NAPA oil filter number needed

I have read here that NAPA sells the canister oil filter for the circa 1950 Packard, but my local store doesn't have the number. Can someone supply it to me?

Besides the Fram there is a Purolator L20700 that fits and the NAPA FIL1080 which I am currently running on my 288.

We should put all this in the 48-54 X-Ref to make it easier for people to find in the future.

My 2 Cents.

Re: NAPA oil filter number needed

1953 327 engine is NAPA 1076; 1955-56 is NAPA 1006. 1076 is smaller than the 1006. CarQuest #85076 and 85006.

I believe the '55-56 are already on the cross ref. list but not the '53.

Remember, too that just add a 5 prefix to the NAPA # and you have the Wix #.
