anyone convert a HEI on a straight 8??

Looking for some info on converting my 52 Packard dist to a HEI. the car is already converted to 12volt, its the 36 3 window 120 I have, I want to convert it to HEI to cut out a few parts that I will be looking for later. I also have an edmunds 2x2 intake that will be going on along with a set of headers to run dual exhaust. right now just gathering info while waiting for my back to heal after having 3 discs fused,Here is a pic of the old screws they took out of my back, the Dr said the new ones are much bigger and a few more of them. its real uncomfortable sitiing here.

There is (was) a conversion available by Eric. ("Turbopackman") I don't think he frequents this forum anymore but you might try a message on the packardinfo forum
