Smile Username and Passwords

Unlike the old software there is no longer a username/display name and password. The new software is just username and password.

If you've forgotten your login info simply enter what you think it is in the username and password boxes and click "log in". If the system doesn't recognize you then have the software send you a reminder email.

link to have your username and a new password sent to you:

Rest assured, all your previous posts are still here!

Not Happy

Tried to log in and old username/password was not recognized.

Tried to register, old username was recognized but old password was rejected because it was in use (Well duh!)

Requested a password change. Received an e-mail with a NEW username and temp password. Logged in and reset password to OLD password which was accepted.

How do I change username back to OLD username?

There is no way that I can see so far. I'll look into it.

Thumbs up

Peter,

I wasn't able to login with my old username/password.

After I requested new username/password i got 2 emails of my username

Your username is: imported_Mika Jaakkola
Your username is: Mika Jaakkola

That was funny since "Mika Jaakkola" was my old display name and mika79 (or mikaj79) my old username.

after those 2 emails I received the new password email.

well, I was able to login using "Mika Jaakkola" so all works for me now.

Even though I have last visited the site in December 31st, 1969 at 23:00

Darn, I wasn't even born then!

Thanks a lot Peter!!!

Re: Username and Passwords

You can change your password in the "user CP" (control panel)

Find it under "email and password".

Re: Username and Passwords

Hi Peter,
I can not get the Forum to "Remember Me"
I check the box but it doesn't work.
I'm I doing something wrong?
Thanks, Joe C.
