Before the format was changed it used to be there would be a little flag that popped up saying we had a PM waiting. I don't believe it is there anymore as I have missed several PMs because the flag is not there or I am not seeing it.
Is it me or the forum?

Click "User CP" in the menu then click "Edit Options". Scroll down to "Private Messaging" and set the options to "Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up" and any other options you want.

I'm not sure why that feature is not turned by default on this forum. It should be. I'm sure a lot of PMs are being missed because it is turned off.
