Okay, one more time. When attempting to attach pics to a post, either way I try, they come out HUGE, inordinately increasing the page size.

This occurs when using the "Manage Attachments" function, the "Insert Image" icon, and the old-fashioned , hand-typed [img]...properties/URL...[/img] way. Trying to change the photo's properties from -thumbs, -med, or -original does nothing to change the humongous image that appears.

Is it a setting that I need to change on my side, since this never happened in the "olden days," that is, before July, 2009.

I'm starting to get the DT's from lack of photo sharing ...I need a fix!

This is when I get it from the Gallery, using a picture just added, not an old one. It works just fine.

It must have something to do with the Properties of the image that were added before "the change."

If you have a photo management program like "Nero Photosnap Essentials" or similar, try to change the pixel size to less than 2000 pixels in either direction and then post. The photo should be a good size for posting then.

Thanks, I use XnView, and all the pix are reduced prior to their addition in the Gallery. That's not the problem; the '15 Mercer was the first image added after our changeover, and works just fine. The others were all there before the change. Peter's on it, so I'll wait for his reply.
