    Picture Linking/Size Question

    .

When I put a link into a post, linking to a picture I am hosting elsewhere, the picture appears with a yellow bar across the top which says:

"This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 800x597."

Is there a specific resolution/file size which will display "natively" without the yellow bar across the top? Is there a certain resolution/file size that the forum software "wants"?

Or will any picture appear like that, regardless.

    Much obliged,

    James

    Re: Picture Linking/Size Question

check the DPI (Resolution) because even though it's 800 x 597 it should only be 72 DPI...... If it's 300 or 250 or something it will be a bigger file.. 72 to 96 DPI is Web Resolution (and TV)
