| Photos Gone Peter,
I don't know if it's new-software-related or not, but I noticed that a few photos that used to be on the Peerless Forum have disappeared. Specifically, on the "Peerless CCCA List" and "Peerless 1927 6-72" threads. This amounts to just 3 photos, all of which are on my AACA Photo Gallery area*. I tried to re-instate one of them, but to no avail.
Also, on the "Peerless Research Findings" thread ( post No. 42 ), I tried to insert a photo of a 1912 Peerless on the Wikipedia.org site ( their page on Peerless has 2 pics of cars )... but it hasn't appeared on the post yet. As I recall, one is supposed to send the photo to the AACA PhotoGallery area instead of directly to the to the post.....but I couldn't remember how to do that. UPDATE: I got this to work.
* CORRECTION: The 3 photos are all on the Photo Gallery when you search "Peerless". One is "Green 1929 Peerless 8-125", another is "1928 Peerless 6-91". The one that goes with the 1st page of the Peerless 1927 6-72 Thread is "Philippe Mordant's 1927 Peerless 6-72".
Thank you! ----Jeff

| Re: Photos Gone When you post a picture you need to grab the direct link code and inject it into your post.
You'll find that in the gallery when you look at an image.

| Re: Photos Gone Peter,
Thank you very much for replying.
I put a correction on my first post on this topic above. Sorry, but I mis-stated something! The picture you posted above is one I just succeeded in getting on the Photo Gallery recently, but hadn't decided where to put it. If I manage to figure out how to attach it to a post I'd just put it with the first 2 on the Peerless CCCA thread on the Peerless Forum.
I'll see if there is a way to use direct link codes on a post. Having only Cro-Magnon computer skills, it may take awhile.

This method has an image size limitation. Not 100% sure but I think this method is an alternative to putting an image in your gallery & linking to your post. |

| Re: Photos Gone 1939_Buick,
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried for the 3rd time to put one photo back, with no success.
The last time, I copied down the 45-character code of one picture on the Photo Forums on a piece of paper, then typed it in on the Manage Attachments box that asked for the URL. There must be an easier way to do this. Peter's suggestion sounded good, but I don't know how one can "grab direct link codes & inject them into one's post".
