| Not really a forum question This is not really a forum question, but I do not know where else to go to ask this. I am kind of at my wit's end.
Does the AACA have any sort of an "overseas assistance program" for donations/funding for injured U.S. citizens like some other organizations? My son was injured in Japan and we are looking for a way to pay his hospitalization/medical bills. He is not covered on any insurance because he is a volunteer teacher of English to Japanese elementary school students. Apparently, the Japanese need for him to pay his bills before he may return to the United States. I am not begging for dollars as I am about to sell my 1931 Dodge Brothers coupe (avatar car) to cover the costs. I just wanted to ask in case anyone has other ideas. I would, of course, prefer NOT to sell my car, but I see no recourse at this time. The bill is only $7,500 since the children he was teaching came up with about half of the $13,000.00 needed. Thanks for any new suggestions. The timing sucks because he has about 13 days to pay. John Oh yeah...to the moderators of this forum...if this is a nono to ask, please delete my post.
