Barry, I can change it "each time" but it has to be done manually. Actually, I like it big. You must still be young!
Oh, it's the last "T" at the top right of the "text box" window.

I tried that and it doesn't reduce text size for this site.
I'll alert the Web Site guru about your concerns. He's still working on other problem, so bear with him.

Okay, got a question. I took your suggestion and changed the style sheet to "frosty". Love the nice blue color. But the print is much smaller than on the "bus station bathroom green" AACA style sheet. Any way to have it be the same with just the color difference? That would be excellent. When I hit 45 I determined that I needed reading glasses. I told my wife, "I think I need reading glasses." She replied "If you're arms weren't so long you would have realized that two years ago!" Anyone that's met me will find that funny.
Now I feel bad for all the years I teased my mother. I used to get up and stand cross the restaurant with the menu aimed at her. I would say loudly, "Can you read it now, Mom?"
Good thing I didn't have children.
Where is "preferences"? If I go to the display setup and change font size it messes everything up at other websites. Is there a way to reduce the font size for just this site. Again, the oversize font issue occured after this site was undergoing some changes recently.
barry... the font size is not oversize... it what everyone asked for.
i you want to change your personal preferences for the forum (not your browser) goto the "my stuff" popdown menu and choose "my preferences".

I checked in "preferences" as advised. Could not find the command to change font. What am I missing?
I just checked also and couldn't find where we can change the font size either as far as all messages showing up in that size. So I am confused also about this.
And I notice that messages are not left-hand justified anymore, they are back to being centered again. What's up with that?

its in preferences... simply change the "preferred style sheet".
susan, the style sheet decides if something is centered.

Another question.
I no longer get e-mail notification or a response to a post I'm following. How come?

I went back, again, and checked that. I have mine set for "frosty", I like the blue rather than the green. However, I still can't find where the font size can be changed so that the print on "frosty" is not microscopic. The print on the green style sheet is easier to read, I just can't stand the color.

Thanks. That is not a big deal. At least now I know.

Making a change to my style sheet did it. Thanks for your help.
From Judy Edwards!
He can always adjust the text size on his monitor.
1. Go to VIEW
2. Choose TEXT SIZE
3. then you can select increase/decrease text size
or
Ctrl and plus sign (+) will increase the font size
Ctrl and minus sign (-) will decease the font size
This will only effect the window open. The change will stay into effect until you close that window or change it back.
Hope that helps!
Judy does a lot of computer work for the AACA and is a big help to all of us.
