Recommend you call Don Lang-- Lang's Old Car parts. He sells new 1910 - 1912 Heinze coil units. Who ever is building those new ones for him, I'm 90% sure I saw their website once and they can rebuild / reproduce almost any wooden coil. If they aren't the ones who can do that, Don also knows a lot of other suppliers. His number for technical support is 978-297-1919 or order something and use the toll free order number 1-800-872-7871. Good luck.

Vogel Electronics in Bakersfield, CA rebuilt the starter-generator from my 1921 Franklin. They did an excellent job. Their phone number is (661) 323-1995.

Last year at Hershey, there was a guy which was buying and selling Bosch "A" coils. He was rewinding them himself. His space number at Hershey was CW-20, but I can't find his name.

It is a tedius process, but you can look through the Hershey Meet listings and find the name.

    Good Luck,
