wiring

I have a 47club coupe. Im re wiring it and on the diagram i got with the harness it has (instrument light switch) its a black wire that comes out by the windsheld wiper switch.Could any one tell me where it go's? Thank you for your help. Mike

Just a guess: check the continuity thru this wire and see if the other end comes out (thru the engine harness) near the temp sender. If so it may be for the temp gauge. The originals had a bullit connector under the dash.
