Re: LCOC.org Discussion Forum - IT ROCKS!

1940 lincoln Zephyr cabriolet has cracked head on drivers side. I talked to the mechanic that was working on this car and he advised head had previously been welded. Is there a reliable source for reconditioning and/or adviseing me if its worth the effort before attempting to replace.
Thanks for any help

Re: Link to Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club

Hey Guys,

I used to be Phil Knapp.

Now this ^%^^&&$%#@@ forum won't let me log in so I registered as Kyle Brule.

Has anybody else had this happen to them? How about Mssr. Bastoe who used to be 40zeffer.

This forum has become WAY too hard to use!!

What's going on here??????

Re: Link to Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club

The login procedure on this new forum is NOT user-friendly. It told me that I had entered an incorrect password - the same password I have used for a LONG time. It then wanted me to CHANGE my password but wouldn't accept my "OLD" password, which was now deemed to be incorrect. Catch 22!

I FINALLY got a "NEW" password after being cut off for 5 "incorrect" login attempts. I have no idea why I am now able to log in using my "NEW" password - the "LOG OUT" option never appeared until AFTER I attempted to view a post - go figure!!!!

Phil:
The same thing happened to me. I used the new password they assigned (after 2 attempts). and finally got in. Then went and changed it back to my original one. It was a long and involved process but I out foxed the system! Who says us old farts can't figure this ROTTEN new system out!
