Am I missing something

I just went through all the photographs I have on the 46 to 48 Connie and could not find one that had the engine side of the grill shown. Is there supposed to be a plate between the top of the grill (behind the hod release unit) and the radiator? I have three threaded holes on the rear of the panel that has the hood release latch on it. A photograph would be great! Thanks Harry

Re: Am I missing something

This panel is supposed to direct the air through the radiator rather than over it. This is the closest I can come to a photo of it. I have one for my '47 Continental and I will try to get a photo of it asap.

Thanks Phil That means that is another piece that is missing and will join the ever growing list of needed parts that I am sending out to folks. But all in all I am still satisfied with the trade. Harry

Hi John,

Posting photos on this forum isn't any harder than on the old one - just different.

1. Scroll down and click on the line that reads "Manage Attachments"

2. A new window will appear with the heading: "Upload File from your computer" followed by 10 occurrances of "Browse"

3. Locate the photo(s) you want to post and click on "Upload"

4. Wait for the screen to go blank and "Done" appears at the bottom of the window.

5. Close the window and click on "Preview Post" to see if everything looks OK, or just click on "Submit Reply" and you're done!

Try posting some photos of your gorgeous Luxrite Copper '40 Continental just in case some forum viewers aren't LZOC members yet!
