First, my project car is a 1927 Dictator. Would anyone know of good source(s) for high-temp Studebaker light gray engine paint? I understand today's paint formulations are vastly different from those of 1927. I'm just looking for something that's durable, heat resistant, and looks correct. Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for the referral; however, Studebaker Parts OnLine only carries engine paint for 1928 and newer cars. My project is a 1927. The correct engine color for my '27 is light gray. Again, thanks for your response.
Try this. The grey colour wasn't exclusive to Studebaker. A number of auto makers used it (Dodge for one.) The medium grey might do. My car was built so close to the end of 1927 production, I just painted it Studebaker Green.
