I need to remove and test cores on my underseat heaters but after removing four screws between heater shell and floorboard, heaters won't budge. I can see what looks like some sort of thick caulking material that was probably used to deal out moisture and air. Any tricks on how to pry these out? A few hits with the old rubber mallet didn't do it this time. Thanks.
