| Re: Philco Transitone Dash Mounted Radio for 30's car Were there car radios (even as accessories) in the 1920's? I was always under the impression that the early 30's were the first ones. I have a Philco Transitone radio that is a steering column mount, for an early '30's car, in excellent condition, even has the key in the head. Don't know if it works. If anyone is interested would sell for $300, or I'll put it on Ebay later. thanks dc
