Hello all. This is my first post. I have a 1963 Belair wagon. My wiper motor went bad so I had it rebuilt. I installed it today and have a weird problem. The wipers only go up about 3-4 inches and then back down. Any ideas what would cause this? I checked the linkage and everything looks fine.

Take it back to the repair person. I'll bet they put the gear in wrong. I can't remember exactly why I think that, but I remember having the same problem once.

If my memory is right there is a park position in the motor and it might be in the wrong position
