Metal Engine Gaskets-Any use?

I have boxes and boxes of old metal (and cork) engine gaskets. Does anyone use or need these anymore or do they just have new gaskets made for their engines? Honestly-I'd never seen the metal gaskets until we started going through the boxes of parts in my dad's restoration shop. I have - literally - hundreds of these gaskets, stored flat, some in their original packaging. Let me know and I will post the ones that are identifiable.
Thanks
Docs Gal

Keeping them flat is key. Do you have any for a 56 Buick 322 cu in engine, or a 69 Buick 430 motor?

Re: Metal Engine Gaskets-Any use?

Metal head gaskets began to be used by the manufacturers in the late 40s and early 50s and are still used today. If they are good, and in original in particular, there should be a market for them even if it's ebay.

Re: Metal Engine Gaskets-Any use?

Here are just a few of the gaskets that I have here in my office (doing an extensive inventory list for you all)

GMC - 1939 - 42 (6)
Ford - 1941 - 48 (6)
Ford 4, model A - 1928 - 31 complete gasket set(Felpro).
Dodge & Ply - 1934 - 50 (6)
Chev/Desoto - 1936 & 1937 - 50 (6)
Fitzgerald (I have the part number that is stamped on them but Dad did not write what years they went to.

If anyone is interested in these gaskets someone would have to give me a part number and then I can look for it. Should I list these part numbers here or would that be too much info for this type of forum?

There are a huge number of these gaskets and I will hopefully be able to find some more info about them.
I also have Victor valve cover sets, valve rocker arm covers, oil pan, valve rocker arm gaskets for pretty much all domestic makes.

If anyone has any feedback it is appreciated.
