Have you tried Egge Machine - Your Complete Source for Obsolete Engine Parts yet?

They are a pretty good source for hard to find engine internals.

You might want to check the restoration projects in the forums. A fellow is doing a 29 hupmobile and could not find pistons at Egge. He found some at Vintage Auto parts. As your cars are close in age you might want to check out his restoration. Its one fine job of restoring the car and then posting the results to the forum.

If you cant find what you want in the US you could try JP Pistons in Greenacres, South Australia. They manufacture pistons for all sorts Veteran, vintage and classic cars and motorbikes including Rolls Royce and ship them all over the world. Their Email is: pistons@iweb.net.au

I have had very good experiences with Ross Pistons in California.
After a phone call I sent one of my original pistons from the 1930 DeSoto Eight with pin to Ross. After they measured it up they called with a quote, for Pistons, using my pins and rings to fit.
They were quite reasonable in price and the pistons are forged aluminum with modern alloy and came balanced (All the same weight). They almost looked too nice to install. Real works of art.
