Currently has later engine & auto tranny from 1971 M-B 280.(2.8 litre, dual-carb, seven main bearings - a better engine than the orignal 2.2 )

Was driving daily until rear wheel cylinder failed and drained system over night (March 2003). Cost of brake parts discourages further attention from me.

Body fair, with some rust around rear wheel arches. Floors solid. Partially re-painted (top down to beltline). Currently has front buckets from '72 280 (brown); original interior cream-colored leather. Genuine wood dash and garnish moldings. Good glass.
Needs all cosmetics to be "nice".

Hate to junk it, can't afford to fix it, want to see it go to good home.
