This set of Buick factory shop manual reprints will fill the neeeds of a 1939 Buick owner. Included is the 1938 shop manual, which covers all mechanical groups. Also part of the set is the 1939 shop manual supplement. This hits all the mechanical groups, covering the new '39-only material, and refers the user to specific sections and paragraphs of the '38 manual for everything else. In other words, a 1939 Buick owner needs both books to have access to all needed info.
The '38 shop manual has 292 pages, plus the fold-out lubrication chart. The reprint size is 7" wide by 8" high.
The '39 shop manual has 162 pages. The reprint size is 5-1/2" wide by 7-3/4" high.
Both reprints are exact copies of the factory originals, including all photos, illustrations, and charts. Only the overall size is reduced. I find these reprints good to have along while touring. Of course, lots of people use reprints like these, so they don't get their high-priced originals dirty, when doing mechanical work.
Both of these manuals are in good conditon. They are quite clean, with the exception of some minor dirt and blems on the cover, mostly from sitting around for many years.
The price for the PAIR of manuals is $30, plus shipping. They will be able to be shipped quite reasonably at the USPS Media Mail rate. Thanks for looking. John
