    1929 Studebaker Dictator **Updated**

Price dropped to $14,000 today. Thanks, Robert

I'm selling my third design 1929 GE dictator Royal sedan. It went through an engine rebuild in the 1980's (according to the previous owner) and then had the roof, running boards, and interior redone in the past 5-10 years.

Since I purchased it, I've rewired everything; had the new instrument cluster sent out for rebuild then reinstalled it; installed a rebuilt fuel sender; had the gas tank cleaned out and then I reinstalled it; new exhaust/muffler; had the brakes relined; greased the wheel bearings; had the radiator pressure tested/cleaned; replace the tired zenith carb with a rebuilt carter carb; had the starter rebuilt; replaced the brushes in the generator; replaced points/condensor/rotor/cap/wires; installed a new 6 volt fuel pump and safety switch; replaced diff seal; changed out all the fluids; had Steve Munts cast a period correct headlight bar and emblem; installed new curtains. It is currently licensed and titled in Oregon.

The spark advance lever does work on the steering wheel, but the light lever does not and has been bypassed. One of the six hubcaps is missing and the others show scratches/dents. There is some minor oil leaking which I think is from the oil pan gasket as well as around the pinion gear....however it isn't enough for me to look into right now. The paint job is from an older restoration and shows it's age with some scratches and chips. The stop light lens has a slight crack.

Overall it is a solid above average driver - not museum quality. I'm listing it for $15,500 as it really doesn't need much done on it all. I have copies of reciepts of all the work done by others.

My email is echo_roses@hotmail.com and I can send additional pictures as needed

Thanks TexRiv! In this part of the country, you don't see Studebaker's as often as other places, so it usually draws quite a bit of attention. Fun to drive, too!
