Edelbrock Manifold

Has anyone had any experience with Edelbrock's new/old #2515/B-4B intake manifold (400-455,non-EGR))?

Re: Edelbrock Manifold

I have the old style on my Centurion, and it's really the same thing. I bought mine used.

Really, the only good thing about the Aluminum intake is the weight savings. If you have an otherwise stock engine, you're wasting your money. Now, port those heads and the intake and throw a set of headers on that car and you'll be set

Re: Edelbrock Manifold

The B4B repositions the carb, so be sure you have room for it. The original manifold sets the carb back from center, and the Edelbrock is in the middle

Re: Edelbrock Manifold

Great, you saved me some money. Who do you recommend regarding the head work?
Do I need a HEI distributor (DUI or ?)
Car runs great with only 24K miles, but want the best for the old girl.
Thanks again and I love your car.

Re: Edelbrock Manifold

I use the stock points in my car and they do very well for me. If you are considering an HEI, get a coversion from Dave Ray in Nevada -

www.davessmallbodyheis.com

He does killer stuff. I won't bother with an HEI unless I get a distributor from him.
