I am trying to find a posi chunk for my 1965 Wildcat Conv. It is a stock 401, Carter AFB, t400 and I would like to add this more for fun than anything... I have searched the threads in hoping to find a pointer to no evail... any advice on doing this swap (tinkered only with differentials in the past) and where to find one? I sent an Email to National Drivetrain, but have not heard back... I also looked on-line with C.A.R.S, etc but did not see anything....

found mine on Ebay......it was a Rivi Posi. Interchangeable, but not sure which years off the top of my head. I know the mechanic had to switch the yokes, but that was it.

What Ratio are you looking for?
Its an "easy" swap if the pumpkin is from a 63 64 65 Wildcat, Electra. The Riv ones have a flange connection to the driveshaft and the others have a yoke connection. Pretty easy to change that too

I'm not sure which ratios are available, but the Buick Manual I have lists a 3.07 and 3.42 and some special orders. I would like to keep it in the mid to low 3 range if possible...... the pumpkin I have is from a stock 65 Wildcat with 3.07 gears... I plan on replacing all bearings, etc with this swap...

He has recently posted several parts for sale from his brothers Estate on the buy sell forum under the moniker "Edicted" . I just spoke with him today and he advised his brother had accumulated several posi rear ends BUT, his house has been sold, with a closing next week, and the parts have to be moved out this week.
