| WTB small stuff for 58 I'm looking for clean, inner, door sill panels, that screw down on under edge of aluminum door sills. These cover the wiring, and form a wiring channel and level door sill area. See picture.
Need all 4 for a 4 dr Century body ( likely special same size, but I'm not sure about larger series).
For a ht, but I expect same for ht and sedan, Century and Special.
Also need the ss trim for the rear bumper, small pieces that frame the sides of the licence plate. See next post for picture of these pieces.
Will buy or trade. What do you need? I may have a licence plate YOM for you, or other 58, 47, 38 Buick parts.

| Re: WTB small stuff for 58 I've got a '58 Super 4dr HT that I'm parting out.
I've got another guy looking at the complete rear bumper, and I'm figuring he'll want the license frame.
The car I've got has very, very good sheetmetal, and I'd be surprised if those sill covers aren't in excellent shape.
Give me some measurements, and I'll see how long they are.
It might be that you could trim these down, too, if they're too long.
I'll check them this week to see what kind of shape they're in.
Is there anything else you need? Little detail-y stuff, nuts, bolts, etc?
There's no front fenders. Hood is PERFECT, hoood hinges are extremely good (nice and tight, not worn out), front grille surround is rust-free, passenger side inner fender rust free, etc. No grille, no fenders, deck lid dead.
Glass dead. Chrome around the glass all very, very good to excellent.
Lemme know what you need.

| Re: WTB small stuff for 58 Hey, if he doesn't need/ want the licence frame, let me know.
The overall length of the sill panels are:
37 3/8 inch ( fronts) , measured at the longest dimension
24 3/4 inch (rear) , measured at the longest dimension
My preference would be to get the right length, but let me know what you have.
The extended ends of these pieces fit into the kick panel areas, so the only way to measure the overall length is to take them right out and measure them.
Thanks.

| Re: WTB small stuff for 58 I went out and checked two of the ones in my parts car--they're in very, very good shape. I took the sill covers off the passenger side to look at them completely, and pulled the carpet away from the two on the driver's side, and didn't see any rusted through. If you decide you want them, I'll pull them out completely and verify they're all good.
I measured them, and the front ones are a touch over 37 inches long, the rears are about 27 inches long. That's about three inches longer that your rears...You could probably trim these down though. But the contours are all there, and it's the same thickness of metal as the originals.
I'd like to get $40 for all of them, plus shipping. Let me know if you're interested in them, and I'll go pull them out.
Thanks,
-Brad

I'm going to chase these first, thanks.
