Shipping cost question for buick wheels????

Hi,
I bought some wheels on e-bay and the seller is claiming they weigh 42lbs each for total of 120$ shipping? Does that seem accurate? I was also wondering if somebody could tell if the numbers on these wheels inducate that they will fit my car(1965 gs)...Thanks!!

I purchased some 15" wheels on eBay, they were sent via USPS and cost about 21.00 per wheel. Southampton, Pa 18966 to Austin, Tx 78727. I'm cetain there are cheaper options but seller said post office was easiest for him.

Go to USPS website & find out what actual cost is. Many times the seller adds handling charges.

Most wheel resellers ship "average sized" wheels for $15 each, and "oversized wheels" for $20 each. This is open to some discussion, but think of average as something up to 16x8. Bigger or wider (15x15, 17x9, 20x8 etc. would be considered oversized. You can refer the seller to http://www.hotrodheaven.com/store/wheels/salt.htm for reference.

I shipped some stock 61 Invicta wheels from California to Montana. The weight was around 14 pounds each and the cost was around $20.00

Thanks to all of you for your help, he ended up charging me 82$ for the whole ste so that seems fair.
