I have five used UNIROYAL dual stripe whitewall tires that were on my 24,000 mile, 1971 Buick GS when I purchased it some years ago. They are H78-14. I drove the car home about 250 miles without a problem. Then, I replaced these original tires with new ones.

These five UNIROYAL tires have identical sidewall markings of "UNIROYAL GLAS-BELT" and “FASTRAK BELTED” on each tire. They have no strange tread wear pattern, and show approximately 10/32 tread depth remaining. All of these tires have the same dual stripe whitewall pattern and markings on the sidewalls. However, one of the tires has a slightly different tread design. I’m thinking this tire was the original factory spare, while the other four tires might be the first replacement set installed by the original owner years back. No guarantee on that, but it seems logical.

These five used tires are being sold “as is”. Because of their age, I’m not suggesting someone should buy these tires and then go on a highway trip. I feel these tires are best for display or museum car use…. Or for a car that would be lightly driven in town.

These are really cool! After all the hard work I went through, to get Coker to repop the J78x15 dual stripe tire, I can really appreciate these originals! I don't think these (14") are being repopped, so a wise individual that shows his car will pick 'em up quickly for "show" tires.
