Buick "Pacific Northwest" Boyce Moto-Meter
Hey Guys,
A few years back, while cleaning out the garage of my father's uncle, we found two Boyce Moto-Meters stashed between the wall joists.
They're both in very nice shape. One says, "Atterbury" across the front with a crest in the back ground that reads, "Motor Trucks of Excellent Service." My research shows that Atterbury was out of Buffalo, New York. They started in 1911 and continued into the 30's.
The second Moto-Meter is a very clean Buick Boyce Moto-Meter. The face plate shows a mountain and forest scence with the words, "Pacific Northwest" written in Gold on a black background. My father's side of the family has lived in the Pacific Northwest for generations and might explain the "Pacific Northwest" design.
I do not know if they're in working order but I think they're designs say something to their rarity.
If you're interested, or know of anybody that might be, feel free to contact me. (fiveacres@clearwire.net.)
