'77 Electra Landau Coupe FREE
While under Buy and Sell, this is a "freebie", to settle an estate. In Ansonia, CT is a '77 Electra 225 (smaller engine} Part of VIN 4V37. 2DR Landau Coupe. It is white with light blue vinyl. It is reported to have about 58,000 miles. I looked at this because we heard about the car from BCA folks in MA, and they were too far to take a look.
The car has some rust at rockers and doors, the trim is pretty good, but the mouldings over the passanger side are bent. Also one small dent in rear panel, passenger's side. Bumper chrome is peeling. Some upholstery problems driver's side. The car is straight and looks like it would clean up fairly well. It has been under a carport, but not run for nearly three years. AC is disconnected (belt), and some attempts to start with a jumper did not work (I was told).
If anyone is interested in this car, please call The family, located in MA. Mr. John Harris at (617) 484-2474, between 9 AM and 6 PM. They do want the car moved next week. I did take some photos, so if you want a few, e-mail me and I will send them. Address is j.scheib@comcast.net
I have edited the title because I did not indicate that this is a free car, just haul it away.

Re: '77 Electra Landau Coupe FREE
I am just bumping this to the top because I am told the car must go this week, so this is anyone's last chance before a possible demolotion derby car, or whatever fate it gets.

Re: '77 Electra Landau Coupe FREE
If its a 301, let it go. A Buick 350 would be worthwhile though.

Re: '77 Electra Landau Coupe FREE
I guess I should learn better to read VINs. This is not a Limited car, but does have the "K" engine option which is the largest available, the 401 cid, Olds built engine. I had just asumed that only the smaller engine was provided in the cars that were not "Limited" models. The beginning VIN is 4V37K7E. I am not sure if that is more attractive, or not. This is about the last call if someone wants this car.
