    weird red brake light

About six months ago my yellow antilock brake light came on and I fixed it with a new relay. I also put in a new ECU. Now my red brake light is on yet the brakes work fine. Should I try a new relay or what? I am cautious about driving it until I find a fix although, as I said, the brakes do work fine.

    Re: weird red brake light

The red brake light also comes on if the emergency brake is partially applied or the switch is out of adjustment. Check that out first before you assume a more urgent problem.

OOPS! Sorry guys, I did not notice the other post with the same subject. Glad problem is solved.

Retired my '88 Reatta 1G4EC11CXJB901177 128K mi Wht/Burgundy/Suede after 10+ years of ownership and 11Kmi of driving.
Gone to Jim Finn's Reatta ReCrafting Emporium in Duluth, Mn. She's in good hands now, may her parts live on.

Replaced by '90 Reatta 1G4EC13C5LB905833 131K miles, White/Burgundy. More miles but, much better shape. Everyone thinks it is the same car. I only miss the touch-screen display and "light show" upon entering car.
