    trunk cylinder removal

Does anyone know how the trunk's lock cylinder attaches to the rest of the vehicle, or the removal steps. I need to change mine, but have not looked at it yet, so I was just wondering what to expect when I got started. Thanks.

    Re: trunk cylinder removal

You need to remove the taillight so you can have access to the two screws that hold the lock cylinder housing to the rear panel. You also have to partially remove the black panel under the rear bumper so you can reach up above the bumper from under the car to remove the lock housing from the rear panel. There is one electrical connector near the lock/housing and when you get the housing with the lock out you will see there is one screw holding the lock cylinder to its housing.
