Thigh stretcher

My new Reatta has the 16 way power seat of which about eight ways work (have to pul both tilts as down does not work). Another that doesn't is the thigh lifter which is full out. (Recline does work & can hear motor when lumbar is pressed but nothing happens). Any suggestions on how to retract thigh bar ?
Also need a factory service manual for a late '88, any sources for less than $96.50 (inc s&h) from Helm ?

What I found on mine was that the wire connector became disengaged from the motor. I put it back on and the mechanism worked like new.

Do a search on the discussion page for manuals, there is a list of sources.
I have NEW lumbar bladders. GM discontinued them several years ago, their '92 price was $124.... I sell them for $45 including shipping. Barney@texas.net

Was the connector - ran seat all the way up/back and found dangling. Took longer to find the motor and even longer to mate the connector but works fine now.
Also found a '88 Final FSM at http://www.factoryautomanuals.com/. Very nice people. They had at least one preliminary also.
