QUOTE:I am not sure what I am going to do with the car. It may be a driver so I can enjoy the experience or I may just store it and take it to the local shows.

Why not do both? I take my black 90 coupe daily driver to the monthly show/meet at the Miami Fuddruckers and while it is not as old as most cars it gets a lot of attention as the only Reatta there, along with the five or six Buick GN's that show up.

Re: Thanks for your help - It is almost done.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

I have put more than 200 miles on the car in 2 days in it has not left the county. My father and I were taking it on an errand, and a young man didn't quite get it stopped in time. Fortunately, I saw him and that he wasn't looking and was able to hit the brakes - we didn't touch (Teves worked great). My daily driver gets a lot of miles, more than 35K a year. With 74K on the car and it is and was rust free, I really don't want to run it to the 150K mark in 2 years and having to deal with the road grime of living in the north. I leaning on making it a weekend toy that I can drive, but not run the wheels off.

My original intention, which remains unchanged, is to be able to hand this down to my youngest son. I want to preserve it as much as I can.

Well I think I have found a solution to "keep it or drive it." I am going tomorrow to look at a 1990. It has under 100K and appears to be in good shape. Same color combo. Have a new picture will try to include. A really good view. Hope you like it.

I did not realize how many miles a year you drove. In that case I agree making it a weekend car, they are far more fun to drive than to look at in your garage. That's what I do with my Skylark, if the weather is nice(not raining) I will put 30-40 miles a weekend, more when it cools off and I can put the top down.
BTW YOU DID A GREAT JOB ON YOUR 88!

Your Reatta now looks great. I really like the wheels too.

Having owned a 2000 Regal GS and if it wasn't for repeated electrical problems, would still be driving it, those rims are looking better and better on your car. It has got me thinking...

My mom has those wheels on her Regal, and I was eyeing them up as well. They look great and they are Buick!

Re: Thanks for your help - It is almost done.

Thanks for the comments. The 90 that I was looking at was more than what I wanted to spend for the condition of the car. Although rust free, it would need a repaint due to chips and some clear coat issues, as well as it was missing some interior pieces. I know I could not just drive it in the condition is is and would have to fix it up. Then, I would not want to drive it, taking a chance getting a chip or scratch So, for a work car, I found a 2001 LeSabre Limited and will be using it for commute travel. I will enjoy the Reatta on the weekends.
