| Re: recoloring dash Agree completely with DShip-
The product is decent, but trying to shoot new color on the dash while in the car is a nightmare at best, and a disaster at worst (I've tried this, so speak from experience). Even if everything you don't want color on is masked, you will end up getting over spray somewhere; and most likely sags and runs in the paint due to so many unusual angles.
Add to that that the slope of the windshield makes it impossible to get proper aim of the spray onto the top of the dash pad and IPC housing. To do this right requires removing the dash pad and carrier out of the car, not exactly your typical weekend project.
There are various rubber/vinyl "rejuvenatory" products that will mask chalkiness of the dash trim, but if yours is actually faded out, recoloring is the only option I'm afraid. Might consider a formed dash carpet (I am not a big fan of these personally) but it would be far easier to install a cover like this, than to try and repaint it in the car.
